Why Estimates show processed status when no Transactions are associated

Several estimates share one opportunity status while one leads to a sale.
There are two instances why an Estimate shows as processed even when there are no Transactions:

  • When an opportunity has multiple Estimates and when one Estimated is processed then all the other Estimates related to that Opportunity are also set with same status
  • When an Opportunity is set to a Customer level status even if it is not closed lost than estimates are set to processed status
